I am a total noob when it comes to headphone knowledge so I'm looking for some help...
 
I currently have the shure 440's and I am pleased with the sound for the most part (could use slightly more bass) but these things are way to big and they are too heavy if I want to wear them more than an hour.
 
I use my headphones for my ipod classic, mac book pro, and a guitar amp for practicing late at night. I listen to rock, blues, and classic rock for the most part.
 
Which headphone would you all recommend? ($100-$200)

Are you considering in-ear headphones at all?
There are several great contenders in your price range: DBA-02, Radius DDM, HJE900, RE0 among few..

Definitely considering in ears...I haven't had a good pair of in ears in a while. Do they stack up to over the ears?
