Can’t control myself around ET, Iliad and Aeneid repurchased… Kr5 x Aeneid (for the dynamics) and Xe6 x Iliad (extra sparkle hopefully) coming up

Haha, so LPGT Ti kills musicality eh? 😅
It kinda takes musicality and goes “you’ll wish you were dead by the time I’m done with you”

Reminds me of RME ADI-2 when I had it! Very dry sound!
RME is very reference yes but I also found it quite dark? The treble felt oddly blunted when not paired with an external amp. The Ti is way, way brighter

Brighter than R01?

The R01 has more mids imo, with a hint less treble and a bit more midbass. The LPGT Ti has slightly better dynamics off memory but they’re a generally similar profile
Oh, yeah I didn't find it dark at all actually, especially when I had paired with the Arya it was quite reference like and airy!! Ti has me curious though!
I love it but I definitely can’t recommend it at this price unless you’re a huge lotoo fanboy like myself. It’s more of a collection piece than something I’d consider competitive considering the stuff around 1k (including the R01)

What is the cable with Kr5?
Khanyayo pure silver by @doctorjuggles!

The Belonozhko lineup - 64A x @doctorjuggles and FiR x @Eric Chong ET.

Only missing a Neon 4 coupled with something spicy from Eric to complete the top row…

The pairing between the Aeneid, Xe6 and LPGT Ti is the one that caught me most unprepared. The Xe6 is very naturally warm, the Ti balances that with a fat injection of brightness and bass control and speed, while the Aeneid takes the dynamics to a level I haven’t experienced before, while also stretching the stage and giving the vocals a more natural quality - my initial experience of that lower midrange “bloat” is gone entirely in this setup, and while you can argue that a 2400$ cable and a 3600$ DAP are some massive band aids, in this case the synergy between the three has delivered what is quite possibly the best portable experience I’ve had. Guess three wrongs can make a right?
