I hope to hear the KSE1500 at CanJam SoCal. I will have my QP1R with me. I don't think the wife will let me back into the house if I bought it though

They an be ordered from any authorized Questyle Audio Dealer or direct from Questyle. If you don't know where there is an authorized Questyle dealer, please call or email us.

I can't find anyone that's selling them internationally :frowning2: Any chance of a UK/EU dealer having them?

You may try casques-headphones, the guy's French, he may send it to EU countries.

Otherwise, I've seen the questyle on various amazons (France, UK, Germany).

Music Junky - Your QP1R already has the option of a variable line out. However, if I were you, I'd leave that -10dB input pad setting on your KSE 1500 and leave the QP1R LO at fixed (max). Otherwise almost any other source will cause clipping on the KSE 1500. Its input is just overly-sensitive.

The other problem with using the QP1R variable line-out is one day you'll forget to re-adjust that volume-control lower after using your KSE1500 and your SE846 will take your eardrums out

Bruce, if I could vote for one improvement in a future firmware it would be for more fine-grained control over scrubbing forward or backward through a track. (Perhaps the wheel could be used here?)

Currently, the rewind/forward is a function of the time the buttons are pressed as a fraction of the total track time. This is fine in shorter tracks, but makes things difficult for Yes and Pink Floyd epics  Trying to time a very short button press usually ends up with me inadvertently selecting the previous or following track instead.

yes. the line out is fixed or you can set it to adjustable. but when it is in adjustable mode it enables the volume pot, so one bump and its toast. for the 1500. but if the line out was fixed in low or med or high. it would help. and just open the firm ware so folks can do mods.
