First thing is to contact Quad? Driver failure or broken connection are the only possibilities i can think ofDid everything work out for you? I'm in a bit of a similar situation, with the right side no longer working after the headphones took a fall. Now trying to figure out the best way forward.

This is a good explanation of what goes wrong:Did everything work out for you? I'm in a bit of a similar situation, with the right side no longer working after the headphones took a fall. Now trying to figure out the best way forward.

I am trying to return the headphones to the seller because I found new headphones with a discount and warranty for almost the same price. I tend to think that it is a broken connection as other users mentioned. There is no certified service in my country, so anyway would need to send them away for service or return.

Thanks all! I'll be sending mine in for service. Can't think of another sub $1000 pair I'd rather replace them with!

Just checking in after using my Quad’s for several months. Still think they are fantastic and the fact that I split my listening time equally between them and my Utopias is high praise.
But I can’t make ‘em work with the hybrid pads, no matter what. Leather pads and eq all the way for me

Tried them with cross-feed?Just checking in after using my Quad’s for several months. Still think they are fantastic and the fact that I split my listening time equally between them and my Utopias is high praise.

That was the most compelling I got out of the hybrids.
It looks like there's a JPM-102 now. If the Era-1 and Alara are 101's, then maybe the Zephone Tiger is a 102.I am curious it seems like an Asian planar;

It was mentioned in the related thread;

Zeo's, in his slapdash fashion, has identified no discernible difference between the Alara, Era-1 and Tiger.
I'm tempted to skip the middleman and try to order a 102 straight from Yogada.

It looks like they only do OEM work. I sent an email asking how to buy their planars. They have a nice looking wood dynamic too.It looks like there's a JPM-102 now. If the Era-1 and Alara are 101's, then maybe the Zephone Tiger is a 102.

We'll buy em in bulk and sell off the excess. Paint them the same colour scheme as the forums: "Head-Fi's first headphone, The Supremus."It looks like they only do OEM work. I sent an email asking how to buy their planars. They have a nice looking wood dynamic too.
Any news on that front?It looks like they only do OEM work. I sent an email asking how to buy their planars. They have a nice looking wood dynamic too.

They never replied. I will take that as a "We don't deal with public."Any news on that front?
