I located a couple of NOS pairs of blue today and was gonna buy one... now I'll have to consider the red though I hate the color.

Yeah I love that green they did. But I can't find a new pair for sale.

I wonder if the blue can be fixed with EQ? I was gonna run them out of my RME which helps a lot for my TR-X00s. Is the blue bass as good as the red?

I would say it's not as good. But not by much if I'm honest. Blue has very good bass too. I run mine out of my ifi ican/ dsd pro combo.
