If it had a different tuning, I'd be interested. Also,

"Following the successful limited productions of TH900mk2(EG), Emerald Green edition in 2017 and TH900mk2(SB), Sapphire Blue edition in 2018, a very rare Pearl White version is now available for pre-order. It will feature the same special audio tuning that was applied for the 6-year anniversary TH900mk2(SB), featuring smooth and focused low-end response."

What's the difference between the standard red and sapphire tunings?

Sapphire is brighter, almost to an unenjoyable level.
Oh thanks for the info, that sounds really bad :frowning2:

I located a couple of NOS pairs of blue today and was gonna buy one... now I'll have to consider the red though I hate the color.

Red and green are the same tuning. Love the greenies.

Yeah I love that green they did. But I can't find a new pair for sale.

I wonder if the blue can be fixed with EQ? I was gonna run them out of my RME which helps a lot for my TR-X00s. Is the blue bass as good as the red?

I would say it's not as good. But not by much if I'm honest. Blue has very good bass too. I run mine out of my ifi ican/ dsd pro combo.

There is a set of greenies up on ebay right now for 1900$ USD
