It is indeed. My parents just built a 4,500 square foot house and my "room" is the entire finished portion of the basement. Everything in the room you see other than the bed I paid for out of my own pocket, however.

Wow! drooling over the rigs seen after jumping back a couple of pages. Anyway. I took this photo a while back of the room in the place I'm renting.

It's been less than a month since I replaced my laptop with this setup:

Pretty plain looking setup when looking at other people's computer-head-fi (just look at Shizdan's computer case there on the right...), and not the most powerful machine out there, but a 3,4GHz quad-core is good enough for me. It runs Foobar just fine.

Too bad the computer project left me pretty much broke and I don't have money for a good DAC for quite some time...

Using integrated sound (I know, I should be banned for this...) with my Little Dot MKIV for now. Pure torture. No wonder I don't have my home rig in my sig, eh?

BTW, Shizdan: When looked at that case I though: "That beast must have so high airflow that it can't be quiet enough for headphone listening." So, how is it, can you hear the case fans when listening to your (apparently recabled and pretty nice looking

) HD6x0's? EDIT: Okay, the info about those 'phones was in your sig... Well, you can tell I'm no Sennheiser expert.

Not when you see the monsters, of O2, L3K, K1K, and HE60/90!

But I am going to do alot of auditioning before I just purchase my new can which will be in the elite category. And a D7000. But that is not, I dunno.

I just want to clean up also hehe lots of papers and stuff near the desk and cd's.

Really, its that I don't have a nice chair. I have the most comfy couch with body pilllows and stuff but its on the far wall, only my Senns can reach there plugged in.
I really want a nice reclined chair for music.
