Even though the bungies are used for ocean motion control, it might be a good alternative for vibration control.

Nop, but it does have a phono stage !!!!!!!

It's not really that unique as all Stax integrated amps had phono stages and there were quite a few of them. The 14S was even fitted with a condenser phono amp. My 3S is actually quite good as a phono preamp given the manufacturing date (1969).
