If I'm listening to speakers, chances are I am doing something else at the same time, and not really THAT worried about the sound, and if anything, I want a less engaging sound, so I can concentrate on the essay I'm supposed to be writing. Also, I hope at some point soon to get my BIG speakers up, which would negate any need for $100 of stands I don't really need... tempting as they are...
