Thanks for sharing! And I tend to agree with you. Despite all the advancements we have had, when I’ve heard DAPs and portable amps with my headphones, compared to my desktop setup, the gap is closing but is clearly still there.

I’d love to get to a point where this is common (DAP that can properly power inefficient headphones). Love my IEMs, but sometimes I want to be mobile without having something deeply inserted in my ears. One day hopefully.

I also sing the praises of the AR-M2.

Phinistec Z6 and Truthear x Crinacle Zero. The Z6 is not fully ready for prime time with the UI but they responded quickly with updates based on my observations. It's now running V1.62.

After MANY, MANY months of waiting for my chance to find some 2nd-hand IE600's... I finally got the chance to be first to respond to a classified! Now here they are in all their glory.
I love the relaxed sound of the IE300, time to see how they differ.

Does this count as portable? For me, it is at least portable enough to schlepp it around the house. Which is what I‘ve been doing the last couple of days after pairing these two: Fiio M11 Plus with Frankenheiser HD700 (with originally not fitting no name pads and balanced cable.)

Yes i always loved the fit of the IE300. So the comfort plus the extra detail are definitely making me happy right now.
