Is it possible to get a different flavour of the sound by changing to sport socks?
Well I have thought about the color. Dark brown is probably not the best match with the grey of the Finale, and in fact I have some dark grey Dickies socks coming in the mail, and I will mangle one pair of them for the Sock Rig. Dude... what if I did like, a fluorescent orange sock?? That would be crazy.

Still really enjoy my Hiby R5 Gen1. I like this better than all of the Daps I have used in the last few months. The old proverb... They don't make em like they used to.

Nope. Sounds decent though. But this one have the ESS9018Q2M and a poor battery life (6h).
You might consider a better option like this Mechen H11 Pro with a better battery and the option to connect a dongle DAC...
