I'm new on here, but have looked at every single rig in every of those nice threads :p

so now i think it's my turn to post my rig, especially because it is almost completed :)

so here you go:

I have a Sansa Clip+ 8GB (Rockboxed of course) with a 32 GB micro SD inside and removed Clip
as an AMP i use the FiiO E6. So that's why i had a try on making an interconnect today.

this one was my first try, and after putting the interconnect inside the USB plug sleeve and glueing it in, it did not fit anymore..
but that wasn't that bad at all because the connector fits exactly with the E6 and my iPod shuffle :)

so I had a new try and came up with this:

after soldering everything together, i looked for another housing:

i honed it down a little bit because it was really fat :p

here you can see the epoxy resin glue i used to hold it together..

my complete rig,  the shure se535 will soon get new cables :)
when they'll arrive i'll take some more shots, everything assembled.

last but not least: the sound quality:   i have not that much comparison,
but since i'm a bass loving person (what comes with my music -> electroswing/minimal.....)
i can just recommend the Clip+ as well as the FiiO E6 and especially the Shure SE535s,
which can handle much more Bass than my old sony mdr xb20ex (they were even good) and every other in ears i ever listened to, provided you have a good sounding player with the right EQ.
the mids are great but i dont mind mids that much i love bass and a bit of treble. i like the treble cristal clear but not too agressive, what the Shure perfectly do IMHO.

edit: here you go, everything accomplished:

Cowon D2+ & Se215

The industrial rugged metal look of the D2 reminds me of the Matrix, especially with the color of your table top underneath. Nice rig and photo.
