That's a nice looking CK10 there grokit :) Although it's very difficult to get a good picture of the CK10 since the color isn't black :P You should try some triple flanges on them if you have any and if you can handle them. They were my tip of choice when I had them.

Thanks for that. Y'know, I usually go with Sony Hybrid tips automatically, as they always agree with me. But even though I have a pair of hybrids just sitting here I am still using the medium stock tips that came with the CK-10s, they fit perfectly. This is the first time I have been satisfied with a pair of stock tips actually.

Looks like a great rig but careful with that HD650 headband when using it portably, as the paint will chip easily!

Thanks man. It hasn't actually left the house yet. But I do keep hearing about the frail headband on these. Can this happen from normal use? Or does it take a good whack to chip the paint off? Can I purchase a replacment headband from Sennheiser in the future if needed? Thanks.

I think that it must chip relatively easily as half the used ones I've seen listed have paint chipped off and it is very unattractive IMO. You can get a cheap case and there are HD600/650 headband covers on eBay as well that say they prevent this. I don't think Sennheiser has the headband listed for sale presently.

That's actually my thread lol. But yeah, I've got a case on the way. And you're right, almost every 650 and 600 on headfi for sale has a chipped headband. I got really lucky with mine. I still can't believe what I paid for them!

The comply website recommended the T-500 for the m6 but they were a little too big for mine and would slip right off.

fantastic, thank you very much!
