Me too! James444 got all the nice toys. The EX1000 are stellar so far, right up there with the SM3 (just a little clunkier form factor).

hey dfkt, do the ex1000 fit as bad as the radius, the look like them so just wondering, tried a pair of them and loved the sound just couldnt get a good fit for walkin or moving etc

They do give an easier fit than the DDM to my ears, but they're still a bit fiddly. The memory wire is quite annoying on the EX1000, I wish they didn't overengineer the phones that much.

Despite my current dissatisfaction with Sony I love me some dynamic drivers and the EX1000s have always intrigued me.  Now I just need to become friends with James444. : )

I hear people complain about memory wire a lot.  why is that?  I have never experienced it myself, but in my mind it always seemed like it would be great.

Well, I wear glasses, that might make it more annoying than average. Either way, most over-the-ear IEM designs work perfectly well without any special cable reinforcements (SM3, PFE, SE530, etc), and my UE11 or the EX1000 just make it more difficult and microphonic than it needs to be while wearing them.
