I've never heard the Sony's EQ, but I'd bet the Cowon would be better. They are notorious for having the best EQ of portables, a lot of the time it's the only reason people buy a Cowon!

It was a bit harder than I thought it'd be because the driver ends up being attached to the inner cup while the socket has to be attached to the outer.   Also, the clip didn't fully pop back in on the right side

Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone could help me choose a headphone. I am new here so I don't know where to look or even what to look for. I listen to trance, metal, alot of electro pop, and alternative rock mostly. I prefer an over the head and over the ear audio canceling headphones and am willing to spend 90-120 dollars on it.

You could get the EQu or Equalizer (or both like me) apps for the touch and tweak that sound!
