I've recently "rediscovered my HFI780 so to speak:

 
I'd been trying to sell them because they didn't get much head time. I'm glad I changed my mind, but I very much prefer them for electronic music like minimal techno or goa trance.
Plus, they really benefit from amping. I've been using them with a headsix connected to the sflo2, which makes bass both amazingly deep and really punchy when needed.

My Pro 900s benefit from amping with the Arrow 3G in the same way. Cheers.

I went crazy with these.  Testing them with all kinds of music.  I listened to some Dj Distance with them and it was very very impressive.
I do agree they do electronic very well.

I agree, that's why it's my transportable (travel) rig, not my portable. For "out and about" I have my Nano>e-Q7 and my Nokia>Atrios:
