I thought the only reason you needed caps is if your amp didn't have caps. So you would only needed caps in your LOD if your amp has no caps in input pathway? (I might be totally mistaken here but that was what I had gathered from what I read)

why ferrite?

can understand ferrite on power, but not audio signal, is it just for cable management or you trying to tame the highs? Quote:

I have already tried before, but when i click the 'edit' button, my browser keeps on loading, i tried a few times, it just doesn't work..
