It's actually an iPod Touch 2G... holding off on an upgrade to an iPhone until the next gen. That's another side effect of the SwitchEasy case... it makes it look much bigger... making people think it's an iPhone.

I'm using it to drive all my single-ended phones (W3,PK1,KSC35/75 and ESW10). It does a very very good with whatever cans I plug in. I'm going to get the SR71a this week to compare them sides by sides.
Just one thing to mention, the SR71a is no longer available so it's quite difficult to steal it from someone here
