try getting rockbox on a linux machine..that will drive you nuts :p

looking at this thread makes me impatient waiting for my amp to come

I was really excited about having rockbox on it it, so I'll probably try on a later occasion.



errmm its actually pretty easy to install with a mac, use the software to update the bootloader, but just use an unzip program to unzip directly to the root level of the ipod..... done

I've done that (on linux, what else) a long time ago and don't remember being that hard really.

And besides every rockbox advantage being able to rsync to the player is way cool

Happy holidays to you as well attika89, Santa ( My g/f) brought a pair of Klipsch s4's and they sound great. Only have around 20 hours of burn in and they keep getting better as I cook them.
