Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, so yes: I am a genuine head-fi n00b in the wild.

Audio quality is especially important for me when it comes to portable audio. I'm not one to spend thousands on high end speakers and tube amps and whatnot, but enjoying music in my case is mostly done with in-ear monitors on the couch, in bed or at work.

Anyway, here's some pics of my gear:

Sansa e270 (rockboxed), with 16 GB microSDHC added for more FLAC/ALAC goodiness. Extra power delivered by Fiio E5. IEMs are (do I even need to mention) Shure SE530's.

For casual listening, an iPod 3G 8GB and B&O A8 earbuds.

Here is my Cowon D2+ & Audio Technica CK7 Canalphone. All my music is encoded in Flac. And the sound is crystal clear. PERFECT to my ears. It's simple, sounds very good & looks damn cool. It's all locked up & ready to go in a Pelican 1040 Microcase. I couldn't be happier right now.

Macro-mode on P&S cameras. Usually made better with a larger aperture, no flash and long exposures.
