Nobody knows that the 37xx series is? Amazon describes it as the successor of the 35xx but I'm not convinced.

The Philips SHE3700 is not even listed on the Philips USA site.

However I did find it listed at Philips Australia.

Here are the specs for the SHE3580, SHE3590/10 (the successor) and the SHE3700 (from the respective pdf leaflets) you can draw your own conclusions -

I just received 3 pairs of 3590bk/10's.

Well, definately have to get used to that bass. Overall, pretty sweet.

The plug sits a bit loose in my galaxy s7 and wiggling and turning the plug causes chirks and differences in sq.
And playing with audio effects in google play has much more effect than with any other iem i've used.

I have the idea that these iem's are far from optimized, you could get them to sound much better with a proper eq setup and/or recabling.

Has anyone tweaked these to awesomeness already?

search in this thread for the impulse response special tweaking (better than eq'ing them) through viperfx (but you'll need to root your smartphone). the result is incredible.

isn't that the normal shape of the ear canal? also they're so small...

I'm a bit puzzled with them. It seals too good one side (right) and not left.Even with different tips. I thought maybe it came down to oval. I might have to try some foam ones.
But i really dont want to foam up every iem = $$$ 30 bone foams for 10 bone iems :D

Sometimes tips can be fussy depending on conditions like ear oils etc.

Since the Philips 3580/3590 come with different size tips - might be worthwhile trying the different sizes in the ear that does not seem to have a good fit - that might help.

Memory foam tips do help - and can be found for as low as US$1.13 for 4pcs (2 pairs) or US$1.32 for 10pcs (5 pairs) off eBay (and some list different sizes) -
but be prepared to wait for them listing says "Air Mail 15-30 business days USA"

Hope some of this helps.
