Pulled the trigger yesterday, eager to see how they stack up next to the CK10s. Will report back.

i don't really see a need (nor do i have the money) to get another pair of high-end iem's in the near future, but i am definitely now intrigued about the different sound signatures different ones might have. i'll have to demo an ie-8 and maybe some ck10 from what you guys recommend.

either way, as i try or buy new ones, i'll try to keep y'all updated on how i think they compare.

Of course I kinda am saving for something a bit more expensive right now so that probably helps as well.

The CK10's make for an interesting match up with the ortos, but if you have a chance to compare the ortos with a top-tier dynamic driver iem you'll see how different the sound signature is.

They are definitely "neutral and precise", but I thought that they got more musical-sounding with some time on them; enjoy!
