Absolutely, and I call holographic or spherical soundstage being a superior in my personal preferences and experiences, the very basic principal for correctly implemented Balanced connection period. But hey, I hear people also have preferences on soundstage, and I know some actually do prefer the soundstage the Mojo offers in SE vs other balanced

 
Balanced inherently has the advantage for soundstage, sure, but that's not the whole story. I'd say DP-X1 has wider soundstage better separation and imaging, balanced or single ended than Mojo. Now Mojo has a more forward and thicker sound, which usually means less separation and less airy presentation. It's not that clear cut to me, and I love both. It's like having to artist interpreting the same song, one is not superior to the other (or if it is, you'd have to specifiy by which criteria). For instance, Mojo has better tonal body density than DP-X1.

Only differences is I jumped the ZX2 wagon to get on the DP-X1, until who knows a ZX3?

Thanks for the great pics. I'm looking at either this or the Onkyo (the only 2 choices anyway lol) but it seems this one will confer better protection. The bottom part isn't fully covered in the Onkyo case. Heavily favouring this one now. Is the fit good? Bcos I like switching SD cards often and won't like a too-tight fit.

Fits like a glove, but not too tight. Slides nicely.

Got my Peterek balanced cable. This thing is made of magic conductive silk! Time to see if DP-X1 balanced can compete with Mojo. Balanced is more portable, no question, as there's less bulk and the Peterek cable is easier to live with than the stiffer Lavri

We have the same cable I assume. Did you get a fabric sleeve added to the wire? Are you able to post a picture of the cable? I'm curious what the terminations look like.
