K1000.................................8.5 ( Incredible midbass thru highs, great comfort, but lacks good low bass IMHO!)

HD-600s - 9.0 Everyone that spends a bundle on electronics knows that these are good, really good; a legend in their own time.

Ety ER4-S - 9.0 What they lack in soundstaging they more than make up for it with their value, transparency, detail, and speed. A pair of these with a good source, and modest amplification could make others with systems that cost twice as much feel sorry.

Beyer DT-770 Pros - 8.5 These phones are really a 8.0 on audiophile terms, but they are the one of the funniest audio products I have ever bought. +.5 for the rock out factor!

Grado SR-325s - 8.0 Whenever I listen to these I usually can't keep them on for long, but anything that sounds that electrifying, powerful, and detailed with a cheap rolled off amp makes me think that Grado is doing something right.

Sony V-6 - 7.0 Can't afford an amp? Want some headphones that are built great for their asking price, and exciting as all hell? I promise you will not fall asleep with these things on!

Grado SR 60s - 5.5

I own a Sudgen Headmaster amp and a Cary CD player. I spent a lot of money for the sake of the HD 600s. Oh, i have a replacement cable too. After all of that, the Grado SR 225 sounds better to my ears and that is why it tops my list of phones I own. I have Sony CD 3000s and Audio Technica a1000s on the way, so the list may change.
