Obscure Chinese DAPs

Just finish my review of the excellent Xduoo X20.
I don't understand why people don't go crazy about this DAP, its really a serious keeper and I can,t find any issue about sound, for me, its near perfection, especially for the price.
Even KZ ZS6 can sound good with this.

NO! Stay away from that one! I got it last summer. Great form factor, nice looking, really long battery life... but.... it has loud pops between every track and cuts off the first couple of seconds of every song. Songs that start out immediately with a certain sound will be the biggest problem because you will notice what is missing. The font is so tiny (I mean really tiny) that I need a magnifying glass to see it. As it says in my gear list... it could have been great if there had been a firmware update for it. I can't remember if there are other issues because it has been so long since I last tried using it.

Spend a little more and get a Cayin N3 or wait for others to recommend some that are less money.

Do you require gapless play? Some of the offerings have it and some don't.

If you search in this thread for the Agptek H3 you will find some recommendations for it. I do not need another dap... I have several... but if I did I would strongly consider this one. Depends on your budget and what you will be using it for.

If you're going to spend that much money on a player I'll suggest the Hidizs AP60 MKII instead

https://smile.amazon.com/HIDIZS-AP60-Bluetooth-Wireless-Resolution/dp/B01LQLS4AE

$130 for the player, $120 for the player and their IE800 pseudo clone ($130 player + $20 earphones - $30 coupon). It also has 2 way Bluetooth, ability to work as USB DAC or output digital to act as transport, user defined EQ, gapless, basically all the extras that come with full featured players

Edit: I may be wrong but it appears that the offer on the coupon now just applies to the player, so that makes it $100 now but I'm not positive that's correct

I have the Hifiwalker H2 DAP. It is very similar to the Agptek H3 and a similar price but is better made and includes a decent pair of IEMs in the accessory package. Since the latest firmware upgrade any issues I had have been resolved. The Agptek firmware is still, I believe, in Beta form.

I second it. I got it from AliExpress with leather case and earphones. Nice form factor and good UI. Only complaint is that it doesn't have great output power.

I love mine (AP-60), and have no issue with output power... but I'm only powering very efficient IEM's. I usually top out at '25'.... maybe 30. :)
It is a great little player. I haven't had a single issue or complaint about it.

Well filled up the 8gb int memory with 111 cds... And added a 16gb card which I have added 114 cds on to... More to follow.... So far so good, Sounds fine, Easy to fill up , and ease of use . Shows cd art work, as Bluetooth, . cant fault it so far...

Amazon UK...but it maybe on Amazon .com....to be honest looking at the size and specs on Amazon there are a few names which do look very much the same.. but for £24...... I'm very pleased.
