me too, as an electronics engineering student, I did so much problems designing/figuring out all about amplifiers from discrete to micro that I started to hate it, now I am considering building my own as a side project after grad
Well, if this is true, I believe I'm kind of on the right track, starting off on the smaller stuff indeed.
I just like to comment that Head-Fi is an overwhelming forum, in the sense
there are tons of deep, technical information. I haven't found my way around
it yet, that's for sure. If I were a high school student, I'd be more resigned. But
as a 20yw+ electronic engineer, I'm a bit disappointed of how much I don't
know about the sound realm. It's really baffling.
For example, I've read some hundreds of posts about portable amps,
but still got no clue about winners. This is another thing about this forum:
winners are a mix of tech specs, granted, but some sort of personal taste
and even art appreciation. It does have its beauty indeed.
well, just my 2 cents about my first impressions sailing around. Great stuff people.
