Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I like to give them a try, I pay for my own iems and have no affiliation with any company. To be honest i am just conflicted as someone just got it who does alot of reviews and he parsed it to heaven, and then crinacle just smashed it

The issue not many own it to get more consistent feedback

If i can get my hand on a demo unit I would do a review for it, although i barely have time to write reviews, but for the Sultan i am ready to do that. To see where it belongs. If Noble wants to send along a unit I am all ready

Sometimes having only 2 or 3 names that almost review every iem on head fi, simply is not enough, I need to read impressions from at least a group of people who buy iems themselves, and are not known on head fi as reviewers. I am not discrediting any reviewer, but for such an expensive iem, I would feel more comfortable reading what owners say bout it, who are not known here for writing reviews
Yea i don't read review from reviewers that get their stuff for free in exchange for their honest opinion, it a bunch of crap, I only read from people that paid full prices for their gears

As an owner of the Sultan I'd just politely say I disagree with the crinnacle review in it's totality.

I've tried literally just about every single TOTL IEM currently available when traveling in Asia for months, only missing some 64 Audio and the new Odin. Every other major brand, tried it. And so far, Sultan is at the top of my list and I wouldn't sell it even if someone offered me more then I paid. :)

Esch should try an IEM themselves before writing them off is my best advice. It'll get you much further then hours browsing reviews

There is a trick to read between the lines with the free stuff reviewers after you read lots of their reviews. They try to be gentle as much as they can however there are some tells that give the reviews away if they really like the iem or not , no need to write them off immediately. They’ve been most helpful until now. The issue with the reviewers is their ear drum is as much part of the chain as the iem or the source and what they hear not necessarily what we will hear. Some reviewers are gentle while some are more sarcastic. I try to read as many reviews as I can and try to read between the lines as I have no ability to demo any iem because of where I live. Wish Sultan had more reviews than it has now so I could form a better opinion. This is an iem is very much like to try.

My Sultans have arrived. They look amazing. It’s hard to get the depth of purples and reds in the picture. Here’s a quick picture. Thanks @FullCircle for producing this lovely pair.

Yes, more reviews would be nice i reckon, but at this point in time we have a difficult time building fast enough to fill our orders placed by our distribution network.

Every Sultan built is already claimed by the time it reaches packaging. That said, direct orders are always given high priority & we try our best to keep wait times reasonable.

Due to this situation, sending out review units and or tour units has been problematic.

Hi @FullCircle, have always been a fan of Noble's iem. I know it's the time of the Sultan now, but I was auditioning the Khan again last week again in one of your distributor in Singapore and Jesus, the sound was so gravitating that I immediately pulled the trigger. Now, having read all the comments posted by the bros here, I really cant wait for the khan to reach my doorstep, the wait is literally killing me. It says 3 weeks is required to manufacture and ship, would there be any chance it will reach earlier than that? Thanks.

totally agree that Khan is still my number 1 iem. I remember the day I auditioned it last year in Hong Kong after I bought some other iems ( sony z1r, tia trio, etc ) and it was just at the time of announcing the typhoon, and I was like wow it sounds dam amazing, and I saw people rushing out and I wanted to stay to listen more to it at DMA, anyway they rushed me out of the store. I waited a day till the typhoon cleared and went to ECT store and there I auditioned so many iems, and the KHAN was it, it was my purchase that I adore till this day and was the last purchase I did in hong Kong and till this day its my favorite

I am so curious about sultan, lets see when i can demo it

Hey @FullCircle thanks for the reply and the referral, will check it out with Jim, cool picture of the great Ghengis Khan btw!

hey @Sound Eq, yes I totally agree with you how attractive the Khan is in terms of looks and more on the sound. After auditioning so many pairs of iems I have never come across anything sounding so natural, full bodied and so resolved across the entire sound spectrum yet without any hint of sibilance, not to mention the ultra satisfying sub bass presence that hits heavy, is quick and tight, but does not bleed into the rest of the sound spectrum. It’s truly a masterpiece.

That said, I have also auditioned the Sultan as well and I can attest to the same, if not higher, level of clarity with Khan though with a little warmer sound signature, good for pairing with some brighter DAPs and genres. I guess personal audio has always been a matter of ‘to each his own’, but it’s never considered to me an ‘ordinary sounding item’.

where I live, I keep always preaching about how much I love the khan, and noble audio in general. So I am reading crinacle notes with a big grain of salt, but for such an expensive iem I definitely would like to be able to audition it before buying.
