All the drivers in the Khan are self contained, including the dynamic bass driver, so in theory the housing should not make an impact.

They also test the same.

That said, there are those that say the brass encore sounds different from the aluminum encore, and again all the drivers are self contained. The encores also test the same.

So is there really a difference that just can not be detected by testing equipment?

It is a black/grey combo cable.

I am not sure how many are available and not sure when or where it is available.

I'm looking to purchase my first Noble iem. I've never had a chance to audition one but I'm intrigued by the designs. Can someone help me understand the key differences in sound signature between the Tux 5 and M3?

About me... My current go to iem/headphones are the Sony ier-z1r & mdr-z1r, and Final Audio e5000 & D8000. I listen to all types of music.
