Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Wow. Tested the khan today and was amazed, I was shopping for an audio 64 A12T (which I ended up buying) but the khan and fourte are amazing. I really wanted the khan custom but it’s $1400 Aussie dollars more than the A12T..!
And worth every penny with the gorgeous faceplate and shell options available <3

For a lot of people, this is a hobby, and a hobby by nature is about spending time/money on an activity or object that really has most value to the owner and may have zero value to most people outside this particular hobby.

For my mom, she loved making bowls. I ashamed to admit I never saw any value in her bowls. I never really appreciated the art, the skill, the challenge it was to make her bowls.

Years later, I saw one of her bowls on my brothers fire place mantel....
I had never been offered or given one of her bowls.

At that moment I realized I was the one that lost out, I lost the oppertunity to appreciate her craft.

For me, I am more in line with mvvRaz has to say, quality craftsmanship shouldn't just end with the IEM. Sound wise, I'm not really going to get into that debate. But I do want to offer quality workmanship and materials from end to end.

The 8 core is a leap above our 4 core. While the 4 core is very practical, does the job, and can be used to tow a car... it doesn't smack of artisan quality.

Is there such a thing as a Noble house sound? Heard that all Noble IEMs come with a certain tweaking to their curves to fit the house sound.

There are obvious exceptions but most generally speaking Noble is famous for their mids imo

Specifically I was told to add 3DB to 160, 2DB to 4k, and cut 6db from 6.3k... and the results are ****ing amazing. Brings the whole thing closer to the Harmann curve.

I’m not huge on curves but this sounds just like the coloration that Noble has on their IEMs - I’m a huge fan

The VE Elysium does something similar with the BA bass and DD mids, which is why I ordered it hehe

Nice

Glad to see them being put to good use

Regarding Noble House Sound (NHS)

In short, I try to keep the frequency response between "amaze balls and tears of joy"

With a subtle lift in the "that's the spot" area

aiming for more than good sound....

I want the SQ to enduce an emotional response

It works a treat John. Why I would always go with Noble. Very special.

Recomendations would depend on the music genre and environment for intended use.

Etymotic Research has some good products in the 250 - 400 area and they tend to fit a lot of ears.

But ofcourse mmv
I do not see the Savant 2 on your website other than as the specially designed one of a kinds. Just figured I would let you know. Tks.

Technically all Savant II are one off.

We have hand carved and then a step above, hand applied art.

Either way, both cant be duplicated 100%.

I have been traveling so much I haven't had a chance to build more Savant Ii.

I'm traveling now, but hope to be home for the rest of September

Should be in Korea in October, Japan in November and possibly Guangzhou, China in December.

Jim will be at RMAF.

Rockstar life, without the money and girls.

I think most people looking at the site would take any comments about the products on it to be a tacit endorsement by Noble tbh.

Not trolling btw, just saying. I spent $200 on a cable (before Noble offered a selection) & feel it offered a worthwhile improvement to my Encore ciems.

I also agree with your previous comments about what's of value to an individual, and with a previous poster's comments about what qualifies as 'expensive' (that it's relative to income).

I was that previous poster.

Well said.

PS.

Great Family picture John, you are blessed!
You help to keep us happy and connected with the music.
