From what I heard from John, (I think you meant Brannan) isn't with Noble anymore. May be company business, so didn't want to enquire more about his departure.

For someone my age at the time he joined Noble, I am quite jealous. I'd love to work in the industry one day, just have to find my niche that fits my skillset, along with a company that would let me get my feet wet.

The odds are small, but who knows what will happen post college!

I was very lucky to have a chance to briefly try out the Kodachi during the AV fair in HK last week.

The pair John passed me to try is still an early sample in a plastic shell with regular stock cable, the final version will be with metal shell with more solid sound.

Since they supposed to be the younger brother of Katana, the first impression I have from them was they have the signature of Katana, kind of reference sounding. Though there are similarities, their mid are more forward, Bass are not as strong. Very revealing but not to the same extent as Katana or Encore though definitely above Django.

They are still an unique iem with they own characteristic, and by no mean a budget Katana, to me, they would be perfect for night time listening, relaxing and layback. I would eagerly await the final version with the metal shell.

I have a question about Noble Customer Service (a question, not a complaint).

I purchased a set of Bells; they arrived Monday with one channel dead. I wrote to Customer Service using the form on the website on Tuesday morning, asking for a return label and a replacement set. I have yet to receive any sign of life. Is this normal? How long does one wait when one has received defective merchandise?

I should add that I'm a loyal customer: this is my fifth purchase. Noble 4 (left on plane); Sages (love 'em); Massdrop Kaiser 10U (ruined in car accident); Massdrop Kaiser 10U (to replace above; coming in October); Bells.

We have 3 people replying to e mails

1 in USA
1 in china
1 in Thailand

So that makes it 24hr coverage.

As to your particular case, without knowing the details

I would guess they are reviewing your case, discussing a course of action, then a response/resolution would be tendered

Sad to hear about the channel issue.

Here’s the question, which one to get a K10U encore, a custom encore, or if there’s another drop a massdrop K10U?
I’ll use it with chord mojo

Honestly i prefer universal since i like sharing my IEM with my wife

I would go with the Encore universal if its in the budget, its an upgrade over the K10. If you were not sharing, then a custom for sure, providing you can wear them.

Pretty sure i can wear custom just fine
But I’ll go the universal route so my wife can enjoy it too

There is something special about a Noble woman.

My plan was to get a massdrop K10 and get a bell for my wife
But since I’ve read so much on how much of an upgrade the encore was, I can’t decide yet

i still have sometime to make up my mind
