Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Looks like the problem occurs if u push on them?

Fixed?   I'm not sure if there is a problem, I'd expect a seal to break if u fiddle with them.   As for the left not being exactly like the right, there is no reason to believe that both ears anatomically will be exactly the same, and due to that, the experience will not necessarily be exactly the same.   If you get a seal, and the music sounds fine, I'd be content with what the situation is.

At this point in time, it is difficult to determine if there is anything to "fix."   That being said, if you stated that the right side was a tad loose, and you wanted that to be addressed, that could be done, as far as how long would it take, that would be a question of "que times."   Being Black Friday, toss in some holidays, the fact that the airport was closed for 2 days....  (not even sure if it is open today) it could be longer than expected.

i have to fiddle with the left one to keep the seal. When I get it where it has that vacuum feeling it breaks a lil. It does that more when I get it settled without music.once music is playing it's a lil better. I don't think it is that big of a deal because when I hold them in place the sound doesn't change. It's more in my head that something is wrong. They aren't a week old yet so im still learning. Thx for the help!

An email exchange that is going no where is the reason why i posted here, so i can get more attention from Noble. Sunny is always helpful and responds quickly but she cant help as the ciem did not even reach her lab.

2 month of wait time, and im very surprised that the company react to a customer with such sarcasm. I will never deal with Noble again with this kind of attitude. I just cancelled (2) order of Noble massdrop for my family member.

All I asked was for repair of my 8c, which was delivered by the end of September. Whats the point of this thread? I didnt even pose that much negativity in the first part.

You're relatively vulnerable in this thread, the family (Noble family) will not be pleased, they may throw spears and rocks around.  Much safer to speak via PM, I'm sure Wizz Bang will sort you out.

That is still a customer right to me.

Instead of blaming a customer in this open thread, why not send him a PM instead?

+1 and not getting that sort of issue resolved for 3 months is not great

This is a good point. I had to go based solely off of reviews, which led me to IEMs that weren't quite to my testes. Unfortunately, unless the headphone is a clearly dark/warm signature, every review usually says something along the lines of tight bass, present mids, and well-extended highs, which helps about 0%, even if it is true. I think reviews with compqrisons are the best, because having a basis is much more useful than abstract descriptions.

But of course, teting for yourself can't be beat, since it is so subjective.

Typo of the year award:)

For neutral, my vote, is the Katana but others may disagree

I have a similar decision to make.  Unfortunately, I've never had good luck getting a proper seal with universals, so I've been unable to properly audition the Encore and Katana universals.  Big fan of neutral and well integrated tonal profiles.  From the descriptions and reviews I've read, Katana seems to be the way to go, but I'd appreciate hearing about the experiences folks have had comparing these two directly (with the caveat that some votes are definitely worth more than others

Hello, everybody.Does anyone recommend a replace cable for K10UA?

I can hear hiss from my mobile-phone(HTC M8).

Does anyone recommend a DAP or DAC for myphone?

Thanks

Hi, everyone, I'm looking forward to being a first time Noble Audio customer. Would the Kaiser 10 Encore or the Katana have the more neutral sound signature? Thanks in advance.

If the Grand Blessed Mother of Logistics smiles upon me, she will bestow me a visit from Her servant, The Little Brown Truck of Happiness. Then I'll have both by this time tomorrow and will be ranting and raving in this very thread.

However, based on the original K10 (custom) vs. Katana (universal, foam tips), the Katana is definitely the more neutral of the two.

After you send in impressions - when does noble contact you next? When brannan recieves your molds? When the labs recieve your molds?

From my experience, you won't get an email until the impressions reach the lab in China.
I think if there are problems with your impressions, Brannan will come into contact with you before they get shipped (or if they get shipped, because they have problems).
