Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I am right-handed (according to my scar)

Right handed, left sided loss, no history of rifle/long gun use.   I have to say, I am puzzled.

What audiologist often times see in one sided loss is either, shooters ears, or a hearing loss matching their favored hand.

The theory behind the favored hand is that loud tools are used in the favored hand, and the ear on the favored side is then more so exposed to the tool being used.  I had a consultation with a dentist that had a one sided loss due to drilling teeth for many years.

We also see one sided loss favoring one side for loud/factory workers.   What is commonly done is, the workers remove their ear plugs to talk, but they most often remove the ear plug with their favored hand, thus exposing that particular ear to loud noise more so than the other ear.

There are different colours & lengths available.

I was talking about the Westone bluetooth cable.

Y'know, I used to drive around with my left window down, sometimes on freeways. Maybe that did it over time.

That is so funny; I thought of that, but then I thought "Nah"!

Dude. This is like asking if you should buy a hair dryer or a toaster?
Since we are in the Noble thread, * will answer with: go for the earphones.

The iMac hasn't been updated in like a thousand years. Now is not the best time to buy one :p

Indeed. Last update October 2015 - the Katana however....Brand new.

Kept the decision on hold till this week and Apple didn't announce a new Mac. I guess I can give my music a higher priority now and walk into my job interview next year with my CIEMs plugged in. How good is the isolation on Katanas? -20dB? Enough to ignore their questions on my thesis?!

What was the point of this exactly? I must be missing something.

I'm going to buy the new Macbook Pro when they release it... Hopefully soon. iPhone 7 is a bit faster than my 6s, but it has no headphone jack. I'll wait for iPhone 8.
