Yes, to clarify its an improvement!
So I haven't been around in a while since I have been blissfully listening to my Heir A4's but did take note a while back of the new Noble line by the Wizard. While I was excited so see him back in the business, I was disappointed that there wasn't an A6 equivalent. When I was ordering my A4's I was very tempted to upgrade to the A6 because it seemed like the perfect marriage of true sound with maybe a little more power to the base. On a whim, I was looking at the Noble website and see that there is now an 6C, is that like an updated A6 or something completely different?
Ah, that's disappointing if true. Does anyone know how well higher end noble IEMs extend? Do they have troubles over 13-15k? Or do they not have this problem?
Tao, he's saying the first generation of the 4, which John created while at Heir, had a frequency dip. John fixed it when he created the new line of IEMs for Noble. It's not an issue in the current iteration. The 4 is fantastic, by the way.

It is against forum rules to discuss banned members, or banned companies
Not too sure about the K10. Everything sounds very "boosted".
If it results in my ban, so be it. There's no ill intent and mentioning your previous projects to help a potential buyer understand something doesn't hurt anything. If helping someone results in punishment, it's not a place I want to be involved with in the first place.
You wont get banned for it, I haven't, they MIGHT just contact you, but might not since John already brought it up.

My point is.... Noble isn't going to address comments or questions regarding a banned company (or their products) as it is against forum rules to do so.
I don't want to do anything that may result in interupting relations with our host head-fi, especially when
Im Living the Dream
Savant is in stock, but they are going quite fast with lots of interest from both individual customers and distributors. Orders will ship within 24 hours of being received.
We are now officially out of BTS. If you order a Savant during the promotional period, you will be contacted with the option of either having your Savant ship first and BTS later, or wait to have both ship at the same time.

I know, I'm disappointed because I misunderstood the description, I thought it was saying it didn't have an issue I've noticed in IEMs with BA drivers, notably the lack of energy over 13-15kHz.
Here's what I mean:

-40db at 12.5kHz, -50db (bottom of the chart) at 19kHz.

All frequencies above 10k are lower than -25db, with 13k being -50db in one ear.

etc.

etc.
The Noble PR does better than most, with the P tuning having better extension than the R.

All these IEMs (except the PR with P tuning) have some kind of distinctive drop between 10 and 20k, and a big one at that. I would normally chalk it up to unreliable high frequency measurements, but it's so distinctive and consistent, and you don't see it with measured full size headphones (which I'm more used to). I haven't had the chance to listen to nearly as many IEMs as I have full size headphones, but every one I've tried so far seems to have very little or no upper treble, which removes shimmer and air from music, which I quite like, and I find it hard adjusting to a lack of this part of the frequency range in music.
This is the "controversial dip in the treble" I thought the description was mentioning, and was trying to find out the reason for the dip (the upper treble one I'm talking about, not the 4k one). Is it a limitation of BA drivers? The small chassis of IEMs? Or perhaps Tyll's measuring setup?

Noble doesn't talk about graphs as well....
That being said, you can spend some time on the Knowles website and there you can learn about the limitations of BADs
