Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

3 months.... I appologize for the hollidays, if it were up to me, I wouldn't sleep, eat or shower. Unfotunatley, the rest of the lazy world gets hollidays, hence shipping and customs are closed....   thus increasing the delay.

as for a better box

It is rugged, noticeable, and folks wouldn't think I have 3K worth of audio gear in it, and I can stuff the I-pad mini in it as well.

You can also pack your lunch in it as well!

By the way... The box is super high quality... I'd just like a slightly smaller size, but I can understand it's hard to muster that - especially after having spent so much  time stuffing 10 drivers in that small space!

Another great write up for the Noble team.. You guys are slaying them.

These aren't just any earphones, these are hand-crafted, bespoke-fit, made-from-wood in-ear monitors

Beautiful if you ask me. I did the same thing but picked the green and black carbon. Don't forget to enjoy the sound too

Sound? Wait... These are not just ear plugs? I'll be damned!

Just got my K10's! Lovely. 3 months wait though... Oh well...

Chose a very simple design:

Question: I find the pelican style case too big... What do people use?

Thx!

BTW... The sound with a Ray Samuels The Predator is amazing. And not very much hiss at all. Gotta try my trusty Headroom Micro with Desktop modules... Not portable though.

Finally caught up with the thread, it sure does move fast!

I bought the universals a few months back but only received them in February i think. Love them so much paired up with my Hugo, for anyone wondering about the pairing, as its been mentioned a lot in the thread, yes if you own the k10 you should buy a hugo :p

Only thing i haven't liked about my K10s is the stock tips, (I wish now id gone custom

) Thankfully, thanks dude to other people in the thread i received my UE tips today and i think they are gonna work out for me :) Fingers crossed

I heard that wizard dude has some mad skillz.

There are a lot of options/materials that can be used for the studio monitor, for example the gun metal brushed aluminum baffle can be made of carbon glass, or even recess carbon glass panels into the cabinet....

Or wizard wood panels, died wood, metric or anodized aluminum veneers.... Really the possibilities are virtually limitless.

Custom stands can also be built as well

Prestige, on steroids

Congrats on you beautiful new CIEM's!

Regarding the case, I upgraded to a larger Pelican case which holds my K10's, Fiio X3/ALO Rx stack and a desiccant container (to help keep the IEM's dry).

Nice, you managed to squeeze them all into one box. I fit my stack in a Pelican 1050, and there's hardly any room for my IEMs, so I carry them in a separate 1010 or 1020 case. Thankfully, I bring my bag with me almost everywhere I go, so the added bulk isn't so much of an issue.

I like the tough Noble case that comes with the K10, but they are tough as hell to open.
