  Question to the doctor:  you obviously make beautiful stuff.. if I don't need to remold my CIEM but just want to replace the plates that are on them with your own wizardly design, is that a service you can do?

 
 
Unfortunatley, No.
 
To replate a CIEM is not a simple task, and does require a lot of time. Time is not something we have a lot of, as what time we do have we dedicate to filling CIEM orders. 
 
Byond that, to replate a CIEM, one would also apply another layer of lacquer.....   which may alter the fit as well.

As graduate students the world over have learned, sometimes the way to get a paper written is by going bonkers. Maybe he just never went un-bonkers after? Dr. Moulton excepted, the audiologists I've met have often been a standard deviation from the mean or two...

Just received my beautiful K10's!  Impressions were received by Noble on July 2, so the order to delivery time is excellent (IMO).  Craftsmanship is top notch; they are like little works of art!  Initial sound impressions are great, and I'm particularly impressed by the wonderful (but not overpowering) bass and smooth midrange.  Vocals are sublime on these.  Thanks to the entire Noble team for the great customer service and total experience!
 
BTW, UPS dropped off at my door, with no immediate payment necessary for import fees.
