Mine has the serial number (NK10----) in blue on the inside of the left earpiece and in red on the right. It's a bit hard to read against the gold flakes and amber, but it's almost impossible to confuse left/right on a CIEM anyway.

I think different colored ear canals are also an option if you really want it to be obvious.

How close does the R sound to the 4C sound?

Hello Alpha421

The switch concept is sold in CIEM format as follows:

The Switch is an "option" for the CIEMs. The option is called "R" (for reference)  and the CIEM models 3c, 4c, & 5c can carry the option.

What would happen is, if someone was to purchase the 3c-r

they would purchase a 3C and select the "R" option (an additional $275)

The switch is added to the CIEM, along with a reference driver, thus a 3C really houses 4 drivers per side.

But as far as the PR and FR, those are only offered in IEM format.

The r is essentially ruler flat, up until around 1.5 - 2Hz with a increase to make up for resonant loss.

It shouldn't be hard to make it flat up to 2Hz

You should probably try doing it to 2kHz lol

for ibreezy:

Switch on your ZX1 WiFi, go to Settings -> About Device -> Software Update. The ZX1 will download the 280MB or so file and ZX1 will update upon rebooting.

tell me the results with the K10's after...
