Oddly enough, one of the reasons I started building CIEMs was because I had an iem that fit too deep, and it hurt to use it. I kept in a drawer and decided one day to re-shell the iem/convert it to a ciem.

A decade later Noble was formed

It took you a decade? Next time work faster.

So, I'm about to take a plane flight, and I'm wondering... is it okay to store the k10s using the Noble hardcase in flight? I remember someone posting a while back that the change in pressure created some kind of weird seal making it difficult to open the case after the flight.

Put a rubber band around the case but don't seal it...works for me every time.

How can the case NOT have a pressure relief valve? Noble, you guys consider yourselves elite? I am going back to Skullcandy.

Yeah, I'm also going back to my old faves.

Are you using balanced cables?

No, but I have ordered balanced cables from Forza.

  Dent on the right piece?

Any reason, noble won't use acrylic for their universals. These ABS plastic housings, while light and functional aren't durable.
For a company that takes pride in  producing gorgeous CIEMs, this is quite puzzling.

No, there's no dent. It just looks like that bcos the lighting i guess.

   what tips are those?

Thats the funny part. I don't know. I have a bunch of tips that I have collected over time. I tried all of them & these fit the best. I want to buy more of them but cannot remember where I got them from. If anyone recognizes them would be grateful for the help. They look whitish in the pics but are grey in color.

Thanks, I'm not a plastics expert, but we certainly consulted with plastic experts before we opted on ABS.  Our shells are made and designed in the USA.

My N6 actually have little indentations on both shells. I'm not sure how they got there as they've been treated with the utmost care. I'm going to see how they hold up before sending them in to you guys.

Where is the indentation, because if they are at the top area of the shell, that is how they are built in the first place. Sending it in would accomplish nothing.

So, as I was looking through the lookbook, I had my girlfriend help me out and offer feedback on which ones she liked too. Making a decision is tough, and I like other opinions. Well, today I had her try the Aurisonics ASG 2.5 that I bought to use while I wait on my K10s. After asking if it was the Oppo HA2 making them sound that good, I had her try them right out of her iPhone 5s. After about an hour, she asked if you can get CIEMs with cables that don't have the memory wire stuff for the ears (to which I said no and explained a bit about how you get used to it). But she definitely seems hooked. So I think she's going to be getting a pair of CIEMs sometime in the next 6 months or so. Not sure if the Noble 3 4 or 5 would sound most like the ASG 2.5 with regards to her favorite genres. She likes guitar and vocal focused (seems to lean female) music, so if anyone has any suggestions, that'd be awesome.
