JH call it the 'time-tunnel'.... could be rather useful, groundhog-day revisited until you get things right.
Pretty much the case, it certainly was when I began, i would purchase wooden items from night markets. I would buy big spoons and other trinkets made out Siamese rosewood and cut them down to size.
In fact the 8 driver made for average joe was made from a spoon that I found at a mall in Bangkok
I spoke with John back in 2012 about using Birdseye maple, at the time he stated the woods he uses are regional, so only woods from the Pacific Rim.
I normally dont EQ but I thought the N6 was a little bass light for me... wow what a difference. I think it handles EQ better than any other earphone/headphone I have used... possibly other than the HD800 but I havent had them in a long time.
Bass light? Are you sure you're getting a good fit?
