I have Chronicle and Ragnar..... Chronicle qualitatively and in terms of balance is something exceptional.
But only when I wear Ragnar the reaction is. " WOW " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, the Dunu eartips arrived yesterday. They are the best fitting eartips I've tried with the Rex5. Super, super comfortable. They fit in your ear super well. Sound is excellent too.

They seem to hold in place too. I jumped around the house and they held, but I need to go for a run to see if they really will hold.

On your recommendation I got the Dunu's, but I can't get them to fit on the Rex5. Any suggestions? I got them on my WF1000xm5's and they sound terrific, but they won't fit back in the case.

You're not the only one. That's how I ended up with Chronicle. To each there own, and that's why manufacturers put out all sizes and shapes so that everyone can be happy.

I did turn them inside out and to fidget with them a little to get them on. It took a little, but not much force. I made a video, you can see here -

These tips are just excellent on the Rex5. They are super, super comfortable, stay in place, and sound great. I love them so much, I was really having problems with the Rex5 fit, they sound so good, but I just could not get something that stayed in my ear and was super comfortable, and these just crushed it.

Hey all, the little gold plate with the crown on it is bent on one of my earbuds. I tried to bend it back, but it's not flat. Does not seem to impact sound. Is this a big deal?

Loving the Rex 5 - did get the Dunu S&S on initially but now can’t. Am using the velvet divinus and working well with decent fit (my ears are prone to slippage but so far impressed) and gorgeous sound.


Can anyone help on a separate issue which is driving me mad - when paired with my Sony Xperia 1 IV the physical volume buttons on the phone don’t work and I can only adjust through double and tripple taps of the buds themselves which I don’t want. Other buds work fine for me when paired and I’ve tried resetting the buds, turning phone on/off, toggling disable absolute volume etc. so far, no joy.

I did the same as you. Pretty cheap on AliExpress. I hope they work out. Long live a world without stupid heads of state.
