Original K10 IEM
I can say with asurety, my hands were on those.

It was built with a 3-man team.

1) My brother in law (Joam)
2) Victor (Rico Suave)
3) Me

Joam probably soldered the wiring harness and glued the drivers together & tubing to the drivers.

I would solder the harness & mounted the internals.

Victor would have closed it and applied the lacquer.
Still in awe how do you fit those 5ba in this tiny shell

I thought it was 5ba per side total of 10, then it makes more amazing how you fit those 10 in a super tiny shell

Nothing beats wired....
I am done with wireless......
I used to feel the same way, but now I think it all depends on the situation.

For hiking or exercise, I love my Airpods...they have crap sound quality but they work great and I usually listen to audio books so who cares as long as I can hear it clearly. A wired set would snag on branches, etc. while trail running, lifting or doing anything really.

For travel, I love my Focal Bathys. (I tried the Fokus but it had a bit too much on the low end for my tastes, but the noise canceling and battery life was amazing). Not having a cord to snag on airplane seats or anything else is great while traveling and is worth the reduction in quality, especially in noisy environments.

For detailed listening in a quite room: wired 100%, no wireless I've heard even comes close and changing the wire can help to fine tune the sound.

The thing I hate the most about TWS is the static noise/waterfall hiss in the background. No matter how hard brands have tried, it's still there. It's something we can't get rid of, at least now, and hopefully we can in the near future. Rex5 are excellent, not gonna lie, but the thing holding them back is battery life. We spend too much on a pair of high-end TWS that come with a bunch of great drivers just to enjoy them for 2-3 years. Wish that brands would come up with 2-pin/MMCX/Pentaconn connectors for wired options in their next TWS models.

It can be done & has been done. That being said, as always there is a trade off. A socket takes up valuable internal space.

My dream Rex5 has killer ANC and a water-resistant rating. I get the trade-off on the ANC, but less on the water resistance. I run with them in winter, fall, and spring, but in summer, I think I'll be too sweaty. Might it be on the road map for your next release?

We don't talk about our product road map, but we are always up to something 😉. (In China today)
