Is KK going to be offered as a CIEM?

No plans for a ciem at this time

You will probably like it. It's the best of BCD that I have heard.

Thanks, truly humbling.

It's 3 am I'd post more, but all I can do at the moment is say thank you.
Thank you very much.

Hello good people!

Just got a pair of Sultans for myself and loving it every bit. Someone please help me with 2 things.

1) Does burn-in help these particular Iems? If yes, what's the suggested time?

2) The 7k frequency gets a little piercing for my hearing but I ain't planning on giving them up for all the other things it does (and does them best for me). Does burn in help with smoothening this? Also, could someone please suggest a good cable (around 2k price range) for the Sultans?

Thank you very much.

Audio lover‘s JOY is when you find ‘synergy’ from the most unexpected places !
The tiny lil ALO pilot dongle that costs <$100 pairs so beautifully with the Kublai Khan 👌🏼. KKs tonal synergy with the ALO pilot, iFi Gryphon is better than the SP2Ks IMO.

What are your thoughts about Indigo vs KK on technicalities? I have heard khan a good while after ive sold Indigo. So hard to gauge.

In terms of SP2000 vs Gryphon. I sold sp2k and bought Gryphon, but not for it being better. Just more versatile. Sp2k has better resolution and layering.
Gryphon has really good staging abd separation. And for the price its unbeatable portable option.
They both are very different in tuning but gryphon has lots of hardware tuning which i love.

Edit: By the way i loved Kublai Khan and Gryphon Synergy.

Just sold my Indigos for the KKs. To my ears the KKs have better coherence and better overall air and depth. I liked each individual part of the Indigos' signature but they never felt like they meshed together seamlessly to me. Bass is bigger on the Indigos but it doesn't go as deep, feels less detailed overall. The bone conduction sub-bass reach on the KK's is like nothing I've ever heard. It really does hit your body more than your ears. At the same time, Ifind the KK's to have a certain sweetness that is addictive whereas I always found the Indigos to be a little too dry. Indigos had the technicalities but lacked that little bit of magic where it all comes together and makes you forget the messenger and just listen to the message. My ears also seem to prefer the Piezo treble over the estat. A little more real-sounding. My KKs are still breaking in but they were incredibly well balanced right out of the box. I am using them with the Liquid Links Martini right now, which is quite a cable for its cost - smooth but super-detailed and extended and punchy at the same time. It plays to the KK's strengths rather than trying to "tame" them.

This is how I hear it. YMMV!
I find the staging, layering very similar between the KK and Indigo. Indigo offers slightly more stage width and KK beats it in depth & height. Bass is done very well in both. Both have the upper midrange peak/bite! Indigos treble is a lot more airy and extended than the KK. I like EST treble in both my Indigo and EXT. I like the piezo treble on the KK and I also like the BA treble in U12T! So am agnostic to the material as long as it is implemented well and compliments the overall tuning 😌.
Overall Noble KK and Indigo is a tie (boring result, I know!). But the KK gives me exactly what i was looking for. Neutral with great macro & micro technicalities and sits nicely between my Indigo and EXT.

As far as Gryphon goes, I have to agree with you. The synergy with KK is superb. It infact pairs very well with most of the IEMs I have tried. That is its speciality.

Count me in for Viking Ragnar!
Hope they could rival my Traillii or be the end for them 😂
Just bought Fokus Pro and really impressed with the sound quality in TWS format.

Sublime Sunday. Listening to the incredible JD Allen album "Americana" through Qobuz on the iBasso DX312EX, Liquid Links Martini and Kublai Khan (Spinfit CP360 tips). Best I've ever heard.
