Who makes such statements, is that supposed to be an insult?

I don't know "who" but it was made on a forum & I can't rightly remember the forum. But the gist of it was that Noble was a Chinese company, partly evidenced due to my brothers bio which states he lived in China for a year & speaks Chinese.

These types of rumors come and go. There was also a rumor about 4-5 years ago Noble had a sub brand and was selling the brand in Taiwan.

Basically it was an anonymous start up that wanted to legitimize itself by claiming their brand was essentially part of Noble.

Mr. Wizard i got a question would you ever consider making a wired version of the fokus pro or something simualr to the sound with the bass a little stronger? Reason I ask the sound is just too good to just be on tws especially with how in the long run the battery will go down etc after a year or 2 of use. I think it would make a good low mid range iem for the noble wired collection

Nice idea
But a major component in the sauce is the tuning of the dsp amp in the fokus. That would have to be replicated through the use of passive filters.

Passive doesn't offer the flexibility that dsp does. I wouldn't expect the results to be as good as the FoKus.
