Theoretically, you could paper over the crack with nail polish. That’s the most like the lacquer that’s used on IEMs. But, as always, it’s better to send it back and let the pros take care of it.

Strictly at the lacquer level & will not harm anything.
That saidnI wouldn't recommend diy with superglue.
If anything
Look into thin uv cured glue
U can wipe away excess glue material then use the cure light.
If your nervous about the process, send them in and they will return good as new.

Thanks John, it's a hairline crack, but that part of the unit gets some stress when I'm putting it in or removing, and if I gently press on it (in a bending motion) the crack opens up, so I'd be keen to get it fixed properly.
In terms of cost, could you PM me a rough idea of what it would cost to fix?

The labor/materials isn't that bad, the shipping is the expensive part of the equation. Shipping international has gone up with covid etc.
If you are not in Asia, you may want to try some local options. As the repair process should be easy, for essentially any hearing aid/iem shop. (Fisher Hearing Technologies could sort you out in Florida)

It depends on the task. Different locations have different tools, equipment and or skill sets.
For example all Prestige universals are built by me, but the CNC work is done in the USA @ the headquarters location.
Another example, all Sultans Damascus face plates are made in the USA by Chris Ploof Designs.
But most other face plates are laser cut at head quarters and finished by me in Asia.
Convoluted answer, but basically the short answer is, we build all over.

20 Limited Edition Black on Black sultans were made.
10 gold plated Damascus
10 Black plated Damascus (with tones of cherry red)
Damascus
Internally wired with silver
Cable (Model name: XLR8)
Cable = 8 core hybrid silver + graphene
Terminated with 4.4 pentacon balanced or 2.5 balanced
As mentioned before 20 were made & I do believe there are 10 remaining.
