My K10 completely cuts out at 40hz, must be why I feel like they no longer have any sub bass, because they dont.

Looks like I'll ask noble how to get it fixed.
It does sound like the bass drivers are shot, but do try to dry them out first as detailed in my previous post. It just might bring them back to life...

Do you think a normal hair dryer might work?

I believe you’ve already tried different cables, different DAP and different music. If that’s true, it sounds like you probably have driver failure/damage on both sides. Rare but not impossible. Might be possible from an unintentional volume spike when they weren’t in your ears?

Unlikely as they haven't been used for a while... wouldn't you notice straight away?

I wouldn't risk it. It's a long shot as it is more likely that any moisture damage would be permanent, but leave them for a long time (A couple of days) in a warm dry environment. The hearing aid driers are perfect if you can beg steal or borrow one, but otherwise in an airing cupboard or above a radiator - it is the middle of your winter, right? No guarantees, but I would be trying it...

How

It will require a total overhaul

New tubes, new wire harness, all the drivers pulled, and might as well have the sockets replaced while everything is out and in the open Also,, more than likely, there has been a long term moisture barrier trapped in the bass tubing which leads to internal corrosion of the drivers.

All the above and shipping

May want to consider the birthday sale, new + warranty

If a transfer service is a thing then it's not exactly impractical nor that expensive to take the guts out, replace some drivers and put it back together?

In your opinion would a faulty cable be capable of killing drivers? Im not convinced moisture is the problem as they have been stored in an air tight container.

Ownership transfer service would not apply to this situation, as this is an out of warranty repair.

From my research several years back a Noble flagship custom IEM was my top choice at the time. However, I never has the chance to order one. What is the Noble flagship custom IEM model today named? Assuming Noble is still the king of flagship custom IEMs, which brands and models are the primary competition nowadays?
