So. I'm listening to my K10 CIEM's today from my iPhone. Sounds superb. Do I really need to upgrade? Red rag to a bull on Headfi. I know.

Need to? Only if you want the best Noble has to offer.

Want to? Probably.

Should you? That's your call.

I can probably get even better sound getting into a newer AK player, but need to is the same question I can ask myself.

Have a good chat with John these two days in HK, really impressed with all on show, Khan is definitely the star of the show and performances is like plenty of headfier said before a big step up from Encore at all front!!!
The Goddess work are very beautiful, I am sure my goddess will appreciate them!

All the best!

I just picked up a set of the Noble Kaiser Encores. Is the stock cable the best option for these? I was debating if th DHC Clone Fusion Cable would improve the sound even more or is the stock cable sufficient?

It all depends if you believe in cables or not. What it will do buying another cable is make your wallet lighter.

Give yourself some time to acclimate to the sound before dumping a lot of money on cables. The sound difference is subtle at best. However, some aftermarket cables can look very cool or you may like how they feel when worn. Nothing wrong with the stock cables unless you don't like how they feel when worn.

Probably the best option for strength (recorded pull strength of 150lbs)

I was trying a nice boutique cable yesterday, I found the added weight to be bothersome and I preferred the Noble cable due to that.

As with everything YMMV
