Hi guys, my Noble 4 review is up:
http://www.head-fi.org/t/694003/d-marc0s-journal-my-head-fi-journey-new-noble-4-review/270

If only I waited a few more weeks I could've gotten the Wizard design N4.
All I can do now is drool... finest universal iem's and ciem's indeed!

Nice review - I was 100% sure you'll finish your review before I do mine coz I'm so lazy. Anyway, I feel your pain about the Wizard design N4 but as awesome as they look you should look on the bright side - you've saved yourself 200 bucks and you get the same sound, so you shouldn't regret not waiting a few more weeks, or you should

Yeah, I know but you should keep saying to yourself that it's just a housing. Yeah, a gorgeous looking one no question about it but do you have spare 200 bucks that you can't think of spending on anything else? I keep saying that and then I look at those red N4s and die a little inside LOL

Very interesting models, and those designs are tempting indeed.

Are the switches independent of each other or do you only need to switch one side to toggle between modes? Having a Left side FR/PR and Right side R might make for a unique sound.
Think only the R mode can be added to CIEM (but 3,4 and 5). Although I wonder if R mode will sound different when put in the 4C.

The switches are independent of each other, so u have to switch both sides. Yes "r" mode would sound different than the standard 4 config, (r mode would be more flat/sterile than the 4.)

Noble FR (full-range reference) - $699

Listen analytically to one song and tap your feet to the next by switching seamlessly between two configurations that are natural complements.

F configuration (switch up) – Balanced, detailed, comprehensive. The full frequency range is well represented here. F stands for full-range.

R configuration (switch down) - Analytical, resolving, fast. An analytical sound with an emphasis on clarity. R stands for reference.

Specs
·            - Two separate configurations, two dedicated crossover networks

·            - F configuration impedance > 50 ohms

·            - 2 balanced-armature drivers

·            - R configuration impedance > 30 ohms

·            - 1 balanced-armature driver

·            - Detachable cable with industry-standard 2-pin configuration

Noble PR (pure reference) - $699

A purist’s earphone, switch seamlessly between two different interpretations of what “detailed” really means and hear minutiae you’ve never heard before.

P configuration (switch up) – Transparent, detailed, precise. Transparency and precision are all that matters here. P stands for pure.

R configuration (switch down) – Analytical, resolving, fast. An analytical sound with an emphasis on clarity. R stands for reference.
