Haha. Marmite was the last thing on my mind when I saw the new K10 universal. I just thought.. "mmm, chocolate".

Funny thing is, we were considering going with "Porsche Brown."

+1!!!
IMHO, the current color for the new design looks like a christmas tree decoration- nice, but not classy enough.
"Porsche Brown" does sounds like something for the K10U.

Porsche brown sounded good in planning, but poorly executed.

If you don't like the new K10U design, which I think u have made that pointedly clear, then you can still purchase the original design through our dealers.

Cracked open a Savant.

Schematics of the Savant:
Knowles 30761 + 1.5K ohm Damper
Knowlles 29689 + 2.2K ohm Damper
20 Ohm Resistor

Probably $50 at most tops. Add another $100 for the shell. Doesn't even come close to $600. I felt the sound doesn't justify the price much in the beginning but not sure what else to say about this.

Hmm, does this mean we will all be able to buy a pair of Sentinel's in the near future for a deep deep discount on the Savant price

I will buy them for $20, since they are no longer under warranty.
