I wonder if I could possibly get some help please.I have not used my SP1000SS for a very long time so battery was completely depleted.I eventually managed to recharge fully to 100% unfortunately it now seems that the battery is draining very fast and consequently it would appear that I need battery replaced.I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what the current procedure is.I’m in UK and seem to remember something about units being sent to Germany.I would be obliged if someone could advise if this is the case timescale and cost.I take it that you would not have to go through a dealer?

I sent mine in 2021 to replace the back plastic and asked them to replace the battery too.
I don't remember the cost right now and can't seem to find the receipt but It wasn't very much.

hi. The battery replacement is just 40-50€, but your problem might be Brexit and taxes for exporting/importing the unit

I had mine replaced by AK in Irvine, CA (US). It was not cheap.

the problem is that the latest versions of Tidal require Android 7 , as a minimum version.
A&K SP1000 has Android 6 installed

You can only, again through Open Service, install the apk of Tidal version 2.67.0, the latest one that also works with Android 6
