It's not fair comparison comparing 1Z with KANN...but I'm liking KANN on it's own very good DAP but 1Z just sounded better especially after having it modded

oh noooooooooooooo, well i doubt sp1000 is more powerful than kann with that design, so it will have better dac and such but i predict it to less power than kann. to me the dac in kann is all i want as i stopped believing so much in dac numbers and i do not listen to dsd anyway

i heard there are more releases in the summer for AK and I do not think sp1000 is AK new flagship for 2017

Most likely not...we all know it makes business sense for the flagship to come to the market last

It uses new dual ak4497 DAC. Kann uses single ak4490 DAC, same as the ak380 but ak380 uses two dacs, one each for each channel.
