Bienvenido

Hello all :)
Started my venture into Head-Fi a few months back, and now I'm a bit afraid that I've been bitten by yet another bug :L3000:
Can't wait to learn what the Head-Fi world has to offer, compared to the speaker HiFi world, that I originate from.
Currently, I'm using an old set of Beyerdynamics DT990 Premium, and a recently acquired set of HiFiMAN Sundara, but I have a feeling that will change in the near future.
Thanks for having me, Head-Fi.org!

My headphone setup is old trusty Sennheiser HD660s either plugged into a Limetree Audio Headphone amp or Headphone stage on a Mcintosh tube pre
Welcome!
Been around here since '06 - and upgraded many evolutions in terms of systems w/tube amps in particular, 650 being warm, and you're right a good analytical rather than soft warmer dac in our used market would be my initial goal with your existing setup, IMO. Buying used is solid advice with good or better dacs which will make a world of difference in presentation appreciation.
Then, research with a grain of salt of opinions, but look at others systems matching yours to get a general direction to follow in terms of what to expect in upgrading "YOUR" sound - source and specific recording is all important to satisfaction.

-Enjoy your journey, it's a wonderful learning and shared experience - Obligatory Head-Fi axiom, "sorry 'bout your wallet" lol
